West Chester, Pa.- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad, facing West Chester University for the second time in as many games, suffered the same consequence as they did Saturday as the host-Golden Rams dismissed the Lions in straight sets Tuesday evening.
West Chester took the three stantzas by scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-14 to improve to a perfect 10-0 on the year. GCU slips to 1-8 with the setback.
Freshman
Kathryn vonKampen topped the GCU roster with five kills on the night.
Janelli Torres compiled a game-high 18 digs while
Peggy Rosario fell just short of double-digits with her nine.
Kelsey Oliver distributed 14 helpers in the effort.
The Lions return to Pennsylvania on Friday when they open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competition at Chestnut Hill College. Start time is slated for 5:00 p.m.
