Lakewood, N.J. - Georgian Court University, having clinched its sixth-straight postseason appearance after last week's 3-0 defeat of Chestnut Hill College, will take on #2-seed (North Division) Post University (17-13) in the first round of the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Tournament quarterfinals this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in Waterbury, Conn.

The Lions (13-19, 11-8 CACC) secured the #3-seed in the South Division after Friday's 3-0 defeat of the University of the Sciences, combined with Goldey-Beacom College's loss Saturday at Caldwell University. 

GCU begins its journey towards its first conference crown since 2013. The Lions suffered a Homecoming Day loss to Post back on September 30 as the visiting Eagles soared to a 3-1 win (22-25, 17-25, 25-23, 12-25) in the Wellness Center.

#4S Goldey-Beacom College at #1N Caldwell University    7:00 pm

#4N Bloomfield College at #1S Jefferson                             7:00 pm

#3N Nyack College at #2S Holy Family University               7:00 pm

The winners of these matches will square off in the CACC semifinals this Saturday, November 18, followed by the CACC Championship game on November 19. Both will be hosted by Wilmington University in Newark, Del.
