Box Score Lakewood, N.J.- On a day the Lions said "thank you" to seniors 
Kayanna Chandler and 
Ashley Gallo, the Georgian Court University women's lacrosse squad remained perfect in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition as the Lions breezed past visiting Post University, 19-4.
The Lions, winners of eight straight, improved to 8-0 in CACC play (9-6 overall) with the home win. The Eagles fall to 1-11 (1-7 CACC) in the setback.
GCU coasted into intermission with a 15-2 lead before outscoring Post by a modest 4-2 margin in the second stanza.
Samantha Fernandez poured in five goals in the victory, followed by 
Taylor Bauerband with four of her own. 
Nicole Barbella starred with eight points on the afternoon, consisting of three goals and five assists.
 Arianna Quinlan and 
Xena Valenzuela shared identical lines of two goals and three assists while Chandler enjoyed a memorable senior day with a pair of tallies. 
Amber Neumann improved to 9-6 in the Lions' net with seven saves over 54:08 of action.
Georgian Court takes to the road this Thursday with a non-conference contest at Queens College. First draw is slated for 3:00 p.m.
