Allison Fugate goal 1:40 into overtime marked Shippensburg University's third over the final 3:33 of action to erase a two-score deficit and leave Georgian Court University dumbfounded as the Raiders escaped the Garden State with a stunning 11-10 triumph.
In an evenly-matched showdown, the contest experienced six stalemates and four lead changes on the day. With the foes knotted at 6-all at intermission, the Lions (4-6) netted four of the second stanza's first six tallies to take a 10-8 advantage with just 2:36 remaining in regulation.
Shippensburg (5-4), staring down the ticking clock, quickly cut the deficit to 10-9 when

Alana Cardaci feed at the 1:53 mark. The GCU lead vaporized just 17 seconds later as
Jordan Kengor drilled a T.J. Johnson helper tied the contest and set the stage for Fugate's heroics.
The Lions owned a 32-27 shots advantage and a slim 20-19 surplus regarding shots-on-goal.
KiKi Brasher earned the OT victory for the Raiders with 10 saves in the complete-game triumph. Amber Neumann went the entire 61:40 of action for the Lions, garnering eight saves on the day.
