Philadelphia, Pa.- Georgian Court University improved to a perfect 4-0 vs. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition Friday afternoon as the Lions slammed the Jefferson Rams, 15-9, to even their overall mark at 6-6 on the year.

An unassisted goal by Arianna Quinlan provided the road team a healthy 8-3 lead 12:37 remaining in the first. The Rams (3-6, 2-1 CACC) responded by registering five of the stanza's final seven tallies to scoot into intermission trailing only by a 10-8 margin.

In a low-scoring second slate, GCU outscored its conference rival, 5-1, to ease into the always-critical conference victory.

Quinlan compiled a game-best five goals in the Lions' win. Madison Heck provided a balanced attack consisting of two goals and a pair of helpers. Taylor Bauerband buried a hat trick on the day while Xena Valenzuela connected on a pair of tallies and an assist.

Amber Neumann went the full sixty minutes to earn the Georgian Court keeper her sixth victory in the Lions' net (eight saves). 

GCU returns to action early Saturday with a 10:00 a.m. draw at Felician University in yet another CACC match-up.
