Lakewood, N.J. -
Kinsy Haschke's team-leading ninth double-double of the season highlighted a well-balanced attack by Georgian Court University as the Lions zipped past Post University, 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-17) Saturday evening in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's volleyball competition.
Haschke ripped a match-best 14 kills, to go along with 12 digs, in the winning effort.
Kayla Wilson floored eight kills of her own while
Shana Rayside hammered seven.
Ashley Pierson and
Jaime Sweeney did a terrific job managing the net as the duo dished 22 and 14 assists, respectively.
Emily McCurley, who cracked the program's Top-10 for digs last week, provided 10 tonight (761 total), along with three helpers, for the 17-5 Lions (8-2 CACC). The Eagles plummet to 1-20 on the year (1-9 CACC).
GCU now takes to the road Tuesday evening (7:00 p.m.) with a CACC divisional match at Chestnut Hill College.
