Old Westbury, N.Y. - Georgian Court University, playing its first non-conference match since Sept.18, traveled to Long Island Wednesday where the Lions secured a 2-0 road victory at New York Tech in NCAA Division II women's soccer action.

After a scoreless first half, it would be Krystal Hund who would snap the 0-0 stalemate with her team-leading ninth goal of the year (51:58). Anissia Fucci, who assisted on Hund's tally, netted her own at 55:14 (third of season) to secure the GCU victory.

Despite the result, the Bears out-shot the Lions, 19-17 (7-6 shots-on-goal). Anetha Jenkins remains perfect (5-0) in the Georgian Court net as the sophomore shot-stopper grabbed seven saves in the shutout win. 

GCU (9-4-1), puts its five-game winning streak on the line this Saturday with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) home game vs. Concordia College (12:00 p.m.).
