Pleasantville, N.Y. - Georgian Court University, playing its third game in six days, visited #8 Pace University Sunday afternoon in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse action. The host-Setters, netting 13 of the contest's first 14 tallies, coasted to the 16-5 non-conference triumph.
The Pace trio of
Joseph Diggle (So.-West Islip, N.Y.),
Bradley Paterson (Sr.-Caldwell, N.J.) and
Connor Vercruysse (Gr.-Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) each collected four goals apiece in the win. Goalkeeper
Louis Ragusa (Fr.-Ossining, N.Y.) racked up 16 saves over 58:05 to earn the victory.
Randy Collins and
Ryder Verdoni both registered a pair of goals in the setback for the Lions (2-5).
Tanner Lee also found the back of the net for GCU.
Austin Geissel collected 17 saves in the complete-game effort.
Georgian Court will return to action Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. with a non-conference home game vs. St. Thomas Aquinas College.
