Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University women's soccer squad, for the first time in three years, played to a scoreless tie as the host-Lions and Wilmington University concluded Wednesday's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest in a 0-0 stalemate.
The score marks the first such result for GCU since October 8, 2016 at Post University.
The home team out-shot the Wildcats by a 20-16 margin while edging Wilmington, 6-5, regarding shots-on-goal.
Alyssa Dias registered her second shutout of the year in net for the Lions as the freshman collected five saves in 110:00.Â
Emily Camp also was credited with a shutout as the Wilmington keeper garnered six saves in the complete-game effort.
The Lions (3-3-1, 1-0-1 CACC) return to the pitch Saturday afternoon with a 1:00 p.m. home game vs. Felician University as the campus celebrates Reunion and Homecoming Weekend.
