Lakewood, N.J. - Head Coach
Amy Rizzo announced today that
Isabel Raimondi of Center Moriches, N.Y. is the newest member of the Georgian Court University Women's Lacrosse Class of 2025.
"From our first conversations with Izzy, we knew she'd fit in well with the culture of our program," stated Coach Rizzo. "She's a hard worker on the field, in the classroom, and in her community. She will be a great addition to our offense, especially with her knack for setting up her teammates and getting those assists."
Currently a senior at Center Moriches High School, Raimondi plays both lacrosse and soccer for the Red Devils. A star in the classroom as well, Isabel is a member of no less than seven different honor societies. Also a contributor to her local community, she has had involvement with Peer Leadership, the Girl Scouts of America, and the Moriches Youth Organization.
Looking to major in chemistry once at Georgian Court with the hopes of being a future cosmetic chemist for a major cosmetics company, Isabel chose GCU because she "loved the campus" and "was looking for a small school atmosphere."
