Lyndhurst, N.J. - Eight different Lions found the back of the net Saturday evening as Georgian Court University (playing for the first time since March 24) posted a 15-5 road win at Felician University in the first conference game of the spring.
Tanner Lee (1 A) and
Randy Collins each recorded hat tricks in the CACC contest.
Lucas Iarossi, with two tallies and four helpers, paced the roster with a game-best six points.
P.J. Saracino and
Tallen Smith both enjoyed three-point efforts with two goals and an assist each.
Devin Bell,
Daniel Burnham (1 A), and
Michael Ventresca (1 A) also contributed to the GCU scoring with a goal apiece.
JD Warren proved to be a thorn in the side of the Golden Falcons as the long-stick middie finished the night with five ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
Austin Geissel finished the match with 14 saves over a full 60:00 to earn the goalkeeping victory. The Lions improve to 4-1 (1-0 CACC) in the win-loss column while Felician falls to 1-4 (0-1).
Georgian Court now preps for its first home contest in what will be exactly a month as the Lions host Saint Thomas Aquinas College this Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.Â
