Lakewood, N.J.- Georgian Court University extended its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference winning streak to 36 (including postseason) Tuesday as the Lions sailed to a 17-2 home win over Chestnut Hill College in women's lacrosse action.
The outcome was never in question as GCU mounted a 16-0 lead before yielding a pair of second-half goals.
Sabrina Chandler paced the Lions' lineup with three goals, two assists, and a team-best six draw controls.
Madison Heck drilled three goals of the free-position variety while
Riley O'Connor provided a hat trick and a helper.
Heather Devaney and
Alyssa Wahl each provided two goals and two assists for four points apiece.
Amanda Marino distributed three assists in the win.Â
Alexis Hahn, named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Week Monday, improved to 6-2 in the Lions' net with four saves in the complete game. Georgian Court out-shot its guest, 28-9.
The Lions (6-2, 3-0 CACC) visit Wilmington University Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in another CACC match-up.
