Men's Soccer Gears Up For Road Match at Jefferson

Previously vs. Jefferson
• The Lions scored three first half goals and pitched a shutout in a 3-0 win over Jefferson last season.
Mathias Madersbacher got the scoring started in the ninth minute.
Louis Silva then scored a pair 11 minutes apart, the latter coming on a penalty kick.
Gianluca Cersosimo made four saves for the shutout. 

Last Time Out
• GCU blanked Bloomfield 2-0 in front of their home crowd last Saturday.
• Each team totaled 15 shots and put six on net each.
Francisco Corral's penalty kick was saved by the Bloomfield goalie, but Corral hustled to the rebound and buried that chance for a 1-0 lead.
Cherif Tammar added a goal later in the first half for a 2-0 lead.
Sotirios Gkosdis made the 2-0 lead hold up with a shutout win making six saves.

• Jay Abraham has scored twice this season. The first two goals of his career. He's got seven shots on goal, tied for the most
• Sotirios Gkosdis earned his second shutout of the season Saturday in a 2-0 win. He has 16 saves his last two matches.
• Joseph Ficarotta has three points in his last two matches, a goal and an assist.

• With one more point, Mathias Madersbacher will reach 20 for his career.
• Sotirios Gkosdis is four saves away from the top-four all-time at GCU for a single-season. With seven more, he'll enter the top-three.
• Francisco Corral is three assists away from second all-time at Georgian Court and one goal away from the top-10.

• Jefferson is one of two unbeatens in the CACC. They're 15 points have them in fifth place
• With three ties in conference play, Jefferson is tied with Felician for the most in the league.
