Philadelphia, Pa. - The Georgian Court University men's basketball season came to a close Wednesday evening with a 75-60 setback on the road vs. Chestnut Hill College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) south division action.
Aside from the first basket of the contest, Chestnut Hill(13-12, 10-7 CACC) never trailed on the night as the home team enjoyed a game-high lead of 25 points (72-47) with 4:59 remaining in regulation. Four Griffins achieved double-digit scoring efforts in the victory, paced by
Conor Regan (So.-Mullica Hill, N.J.) and his 17 points.
Clint Wright Jr., Georgian Court's most consistent player all season long, closed out the campaign with a stellar showing as the sophomore connected for six three-pointers en route to his game-high 22 points on the night.
The Lions conclude 2021-22 at 4-22 (3-15 CACC).
