Albany, N.Y. - On the road for its second-straight outing, Georgian Court University visited The College of Saint Rose Sunday in a non-conference men's lacrosse contest. The Golden Knights proved to be too much for the Lions as the home team ran away with the 21-4 victory.
Saint Rose moves to 2-1 with the triumph while GCU drops to 0-3 to start the season.
The end result never seemed to be in doubt as the Golden Knights owned a solid 6-1 cushion after one period of action, and an inflated 11-2 surplus at halftime. The victors poured in another ten goals in the second stanza to secure the triumph. Saint Rose out-shot its guest by a 43-28 margin with a 29-16 advantage on frame.
Seven Knights recorded multi-goal performances in the win.
Cam Smith (Jr.-West Springfield, Mass.) shined with an impressive eight goals.
Eddie Baker (Jr.-Binghamton, N.Y.) provided six goals and an three assist of his own.
Jack Pemrick (Gr.-Greenwich, N.Y) provided the Golden Knights with two goals and one assist.
Gabriel Nish (Jr.-Niskayuna, N.Y) scored two goals to extend the Knights lead.
Paul Wright (So.-Queensbury, N.Y) also contributed with one goal and two assists.
Dominic Meola (Sr.-Amsterdam, N.Y) and
Nathan Ham (Fr.-Horseheads, N.Y) both had one goal and one assist on the day.Â
Tallen Smith continues to be the constant of the Georgian Court offense as the sophomore, for the third-straight outing, again topped the team with one goal and one assist.

Ryan Fleming (Jr.-Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), playing the first 49:51 in the Saint Rose frame, earned the win with an impressive ten saves.
Sebastian Farah (0-2), recorded six saves in 43:49 between the Georgian Court pipes.
The Lions remain on the road for its next action as GCU goes back to New York to play #6 Adelphi University on Wednesday at 7pm.
