Worcester, Mass. - In a contest originally slated for this past Saturday, Georgian Court traveled north to Assumption College Monday afternoon as the Lions fell to the Greyhounds (1-2) in an eventual 15-10 final. 

Three goals in the first frame, followed by a six-spot in the second, provided the home team a 9-4 advantage at the break. Both squads recorded three goals apiece in both the third and fourth quarters to maintain the five-goal differential.

Daniel Burnham (two assists), Ryan Rigby, Tallen Smith (one assist), and Joe Zerr each found the back of the net on two separate occasions for GCU. Nolan Sheehan (Jr.-Potomac, Md.) and Cameron Theriault (Fr.-Westfield, Mass.) topped the victors with six (4 G, 2 A) and five points (3 G, 2 A), respectively.

Colin Malone (So.-East Patchogue, N.Y.) grabbed the victory in net, gathering 11 saves over 60:00. Sebastian Farah provided 17 saves of his own for the Lions in the complete-game effort. Georgian Court dominated at the face-off, 24-5, but turned over the ball at discouraging rate of 23-9.

The Lions (1-6) return to campus to host #12 Pace University this Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.
