Winter Haven, Fla. - #22 Georgian Court University found itself on both ends of shutout decisions Saturday as the Lions closed out its annual 12-game trek to the Sunshine State with an 8-0 (6 inn.) loss to the University of Central Missouri, followed by a 10-0 (5 inn.) rout of regional foe, American International College.
The Jennies (5-10) struck early and often in the opener, plating single tallies in the first and third frames, followed by a three-spot in the second and sixth. UCM rapped 13 hits in the blanking which included three two-baggers and a triple for the victors.
