Four Lions Receive Accolades as Members of 2022 All-CACC Women's Lacrosse Squad

New Haven, Conn. - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday that the Georgian Court University quartet of Sabrina Chandler, Shaine Sauter, Kelsey Naclerio, and Jessica Rogers have each landed a place on the 2022 CACC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Team.

Chandler, now a two-time First Team selection, dominated at the draw for the Lions, securing an incredible 101 draw controls (1st in CACC) over 17 starts. The senior also contributed 49 goals and 10 assists for 59 total points. A Jackson, N.J. native, Chandler netted tallies in all but two contests, including 13 multi-goal efforts. The veteran attack recorded a season-high eight points ( six goals, two assists) in a 19-2 win at Chestnut Hill College on April 5. 

Sabrina owns 103 career goals (136 points) and 203 draw controls in her stellar collegiate career. Her 100th tally came last week in a win at Jefferson while draw control #200 took place in Saturday's victory at Felician.

A second-team selection in '21, Sauter receives First Team acclaim this year after concocting an incredibly-balanced campaign consisting of 57 goals (3rd in CACC), 71 points (5th), 64 draw controls (8th), 22 caused turnovers (6th), and 34 ground balls (9th). The native of Colts Neck, N.J. contributed at least one goal in all 16 contests, while enjoying 15 showings with two or more. The senior midfielder torched Wilmington University for nine points (seven goals) in a 25-12 defeat of the Wildcats on April 13.

Sauter has collected 130 goals (166 points) and 155 draws in her five seasons sporting the royal and gold.

Naclerio and Rogers return to the All-CACC First Team as the defensive duo played a vital role in holding opponents to just 10.09 goals-per-game. Naclerio collected a career-high 30 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers on the season (17 games).

Rogers controlled 31 ground balls and caused 16 turnovers in her 17 showings. The senior from Reading, Pa. also found the back of the net in a 21-2 win at Nyack on March 22.
