Lafayette Hill, Pa. - The Georgian Court duo of
Shaine Sauter and
Sabrina Chandler combined for 13 total tallies Tuesday evening as the Lions rolled Chestnut Hill College, 19-2, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's lacrosse clash.
Opening the game with a comfortable 13-0 cushion, the result was never in doubt as the royal and gold, with its 47th-straight conference victory (including postseason), improves to 6-7 (5-0 CACC) on the year. The host Griffins go to 1-9 overall (0-5Â CACC).
Sauter paced the victors with seven goals in the rout while Chandler contributed six scores and a pair of assists.
Isabel Raimondi added a pair of goals while distributing a generous seven helpers for the Lions.
Jade Rivera added a hat trick for GCU.
Heather Devaney dished a trio of aiders for three points.
The Lions dominated the shot column with a healthy margin of 43-5 (40-3 on frame).
Alexis Hahn, the reigning CACC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second week in a row, required just one save over 60:00 to improve to 6-7 on the year.
Kelsey Naclerio anchored a suffocating defense with five ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
