Northborough, Mass. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced today that Georgian Court University has been selected as an IWLCA Honor Squad for the 2021-22 academic year along with 397 other schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA. The organization also announced that seven Lions have been named to the 2022 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll along with 510 other student athletes from 68 different institutions.

To qualify for the prestigious honor of Academic Honor Squad, teams must have posted a 3.2 grade-point average or higher for the academic year.

Regarding individual acclaim, the Georgian Court trio of Sabrina Chandler (Sr., 3.74), Heather Devaney (Sr., 3.61),and Jessica Rogers (Sr., 3.97) all reclaim honor roll status. Kasha Elzinga (Jr., 3.88), Alexis Hahn (Jr., 3.94), Cheyenne Hunsberger (Jr., 3.55), and Talysa Jimenez (Jr., 3.78) all make their debut on the Academic Honor Roll list this year.To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
