Youth Soccer Day
The Lions will be holding Youth Soccer Day on the 24th. Local youth teams are invited to watch the match, scrimmage during halftime, and meet the GCU players after the game!
Previously vs. Felician
• The Lions pulled out a win in overtime, 3-2 over the Golden Falcons.
• GCU scored the first two goals of the match,
Louis Silva in the 43rd minute as half number one was winding down, and
Noah Hamouda in the 53rd minute as half number two was getting underway.
• The lead didn't last as a penalty kick in the 67th minute made it a 2-1 game.
• Felician then tied the match with just 2:30 left to play to force overtime.
• In the extra period, it was Silva again, this time on a penalty kick who went high right for the game-winner.
