• Georgian Court dropped their season opener at Holy Family 87-64.

• Clint Wright, Jr. is scoring 18.3 points per game this season shooting 51% from three. All would be career highs.
• Anthony Rivera had career-highs with 11 points and seven rebounds against Holy Family.

• Clint Wright, Jr. leads the CACC shooting 51% from three which is 13th in the nation.

• GCU is scoring 13.29 fastbreak points, third in transition offense in the conference. 
• The Lions are keeping teams off the foul line as their 18 fouls per game are the fifth fewest in the CACC. 

Individual Milestones
• Clint Wright, Jr. continues his assault on the GCU record books. He needs seven three-pointers to get to 200 and 10 rebounds for 200.  
• Wright, Jr. can also move to fifth all-time at GCU in career minutes played with 12 more.
• Cameron Edmonds is two assists short of 50.
• Hassan Jackson needs 11 points to hit 150. 

About New Haven
• New Haven had a terrific season in 2022-23, winning the East Region and advancing to the NCAA National Quarterfinals.
• This season has been a different story for the Chargers. They're down five of their top seven scorers from a year ago and are off to a 2-7 start.
• The Chargers have played nearly half their games against CACC competition, going 1-3 with a win over Wilmington.
• New Haven picked up a win in their most recent game, against Adelphi last Tuesday, 74-60. 
• Davontrey Thomas, one of the few returning from last year's Elite Eight team, leads the Chargers scoring 14.2 points per game. 
• Jah'Likai King is also in double-figures averaging 12.8 points.
• Rebounding has been a struggle for New Haven as they're pulling down just 31.4 rebounds per game.
