• The Lions have only four on their roster who did not play for them in 2022.

Kate Clemente is the lone transfer. She enters as a junior having played previously at CACC foe Post.

Streaks
• The Lions enter 2023 on a bunch of streaks. They closed 2022 winning 11 straight.
• Georgian Court has won 46 consecutive CACC regular season games dating back to April 16, 2016.
• That streak extends to 53 when including postseason games.
The Schedule
• The Lions will get their first chance to continue their conference winning streak March 18 against Felician.
• Georgian Court opens the year with six straight on the road and eight of their first nine.Â
• The regular season will see the Lions suit up for 17 games including 10 CACC games now with the addition of Bridgeport to the league.Â
• The conference tournament runs May 2-7 with the semifinals and finals hosted by Post in Waterbury, Conn.Â
About the Opponents
Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks
• After finishing the year 9-6 with a trip to the ECC Finals, Roberts Wesleyan starts 2023 ranked 20th in the IWLCA top-25 preseason poll.
• The Redhawks lone ECC regular season loss was to Mercy as was their loss in the ECC finals.Â
• Roberts Wesleyan is two years removed from winning the ECC Championship and advancing to the NCAA Elite Eight, where they fell to Lindenwood in round one, 12-9.
• This years team will be without All-American Madison Bell who led the Redhawks scoring 66 goals and 102 points.
• In addition to Bell, three of the Redhawks top-five point scorers departed. Alexis Grant, who tallied 42 goals and 52 points is the top scoring returner.
• Coming back for her fifth year though is goalkeeper Natalie Arieno. She's been the starter the last two season with a 26-9 record and .440 save percentage.
D'Youville Saints
• Last season D'Youville finished 9-8 overall and 3-3 in the ECC. Like Roberts Wesleyan, they lost to Mercy in the ECC Tournament.
• Two of the Saint four All-ECC honorees are back in 2023. Brinn Stworzydlak was the starting goalkeeper and earned All-Conference Second Team.
• Amanda Waliszewski was also named to the All-Conference Second Team as a defender racking up 41 ground balls.
• D'Youville has only one of their top-five scorers back. That's sophomore Sydney Gordon who totaled 32 points with 25 goals and seven assists.Â
