Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• A strong defensive effort lead GCU to their win earlier this season over the Lightning. They held GCU to just 62 points and 4-23 shooting from behind the arc.
• Georgian Court shot 53% themselves and turned 19 Lightning turnovers into 22 points.
• Jamaal Waters led all scorers with 19 points going 8-14 for the field with six rebounds and four steals.
• Clint Wright, Jr. added 16 points. He grabbed six boards as well.
• Jelani Jackson scored 10 going 2-3 from three.
• Shane Williams was 2-3 from three and scored eight points with six rebounds and three assists.
• Jalen Bates scored six points and dished out five assists with four rebounds, two steals and a block.

• Georgian Court led for nearly 80% of the game against Dominican, but it was the Chargers on top at the end, 70-68.
Titus Beard tied the game in the final seconds to force overtime. In the overtime period, scoring was a struggle. The Chargers outscored GCU 4-2 in the extra frame.
• Shane Williams led GCU scoring 14 points with seven rebounds.
• Jamaal Waters was a rebound shy of a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.
• Clint Wright, Jr. added 12 points with six rebounds.

Playoff Picture
• With just five games left, Georgian Court continues their push for the postseason in a tightly contested CACC South Division with five teams vying for four spots. 
• The top four teams in the South Division make the tournament.
• Of the six teams in the division, five have at least six wins. Jefferson sits up top at 8-4 followed by Georgian Court, Wilmington and Goldey-Beacom all at 6-6. Chestnut Hill is right behind in fifth place at 6-7. 

About the Opponent
Goldey-Beacom Lightning

• After dropping three straight, Goldey-Beacom has turned it right back around winning their next three games. They sit at 6-6 in the CACC, 9-13 overall.
• Playing on the road hasn't been an issue for the Lightning as they are 5-7 away from home. 
• Two things the Lightning do really well are force turnovers and get to the free throw line. GBC averages 23.4 free throw attempts per game, best in the CACC and 12th in Division II.
