Women's Lacrosse Goes For Third Straight Win at Bridgeport

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 24, 2023) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse continues on with CACC play this weekend, going for their third straight win.

Previously vs. Bridgeport
• Georgian Court and Bridgeport have met just once previously.
• That meeting came in 2017, the second game of the season for the Lions won by Bridgeport 14-11.
• Bridgeport jumped out to a 10-3 lead at the half.
• The Lions tried to come back, scoring six unanswered goals in the second half to cut the lead to 10-9, but Bridgeport held on.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court pulled away in the second half of a 17-6 win at Holy Family.
• The Lions raced out to a 5-1 lead thanks to three Riley O'Connor goals and two from Jade Rivera.
• GCU took their foot off the gas a little and let the Tigers back in. Holy Family got to within one, 6-5, before the Lions turned it back on.
