Showdown Between Last Two CACC Unbeatens On Tap

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 31, 2023) - And then there were two. There are just two unbeatens left in CACC Women's Lacrosse but all of that will change Saturday evening.

Previously vs. Dominican
• All-time Georgian Court is 18-3 against Dominican.
• Who can forget last year's CACC Classic for the conference tournament championship?
• Georgian Court came out on top 17-16 in a thrilling game.
• Midway through the second, Dominican led 10-7 before GCU tied it with three goals in 1:33 to go into the half even at 10.
• Late in the third, Dominican held a 13-12 lead but the Lions scored three straight to take a 15-13 lead.
• The lead was now three, 17-14 with 10:37 left to play. Dominican kept GCU off the board the rest of the game, but the Lions defense allowed just two goals to come away with the 2022 CACC Tournament Championship. 

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court picked up an historic win, their 50th straight CACC win, 26-4 over Chestnut Hill.
• The Lions never trailed and led 6-0 after the first period.
Riley O'Connor was on fire with nine goals.
Alyssa Wahl scored 12 points with seven goals and five assists.
Remi Reinhardt started it all winning 19 draw controls.

• With three more saves, Alexis Hahn will pick up number 350.
Talysa Jimenez needs two more ground balls to reach 40.
Jade Rivera, Remi Reinhardt and Isabel Raimondi will each play in their 30th career game.
• Raimondi also needs three goals to reach 50.
Riley O'Connor is about to play in her 50th career game. With 11 more shots she'll get to 250.
Kasha Elzinga is one goal away from 25 and two points shy of 30.
• Two more points will get Reinhardt to 50 and she's one draw control away from 125.
Kelsey Naclerio will enter the GCU all-time top-10 in caused turnovers with two more.

• Riley O'Connor has scored in every game this season and has 32 goals in her last five games. 
• Remi Reinhardt has 28 draw controls in her last two games. 
• Alyssa Wahl has scored in each game this season. She has at least nine points in three of her last four games. 
• Isabel Raimondi set a career-best with six goals against Felician. She then did that again against Bridgeport and has at least five points in four straight games.

Dominican Chargers

• Dominican is the only other unbeaten in the CACC. They are 4-0 and 9-1 overall.
• While Georgian Court was picked to finish first in the CACC Preseason Poll with more points, it was Dominican who garnered more first-place votes.
• The Chargers high-powered offense has scored at least 20 goals in five of 10 games and another three with at least 18.
• They have the number one scoring offense in the country averaging 20 points per game and their scoring margin of +13.44 is also tops in the country.
