Women's Lacrosse Enters Final Stretch of the Season at Home vs. Post

LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 10, 2023) - There are only five games left in the regular season for Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse. Three of them are at home starting tomorrow afternoon.

Previously vs. Post
• The Lions are unbeaten in their history with Post at 18-0.
• It's the second most wins without a loss against any opponent.
• Last season, Georgian Court went to Waterbury and came away with an 18-3 win over the Eagles.
• GCU scored four goals in the first four minutes as part of a nine-goal first.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court improved to 5-1 in the CACC with a 15-11 win over Jefferson.
• The Lions trailed early, 3-1, but outscored Jefferson 6-2 the rest of the first half to take a 7-5 lead into the break.
• An early fourth period goal put the Lions up 14-7 before the Rams came charging.
• They scored four straight in the fourth to cut the lead to three before Kasha Elzinga put the game away with a goal.
Alyssa Wahl led the team with four goals and seven points.

Kelsey Naclerio's next game played will be her 50th. She also needs two more caused turnovers to enter the GCU all-time top-10. 
• Talysa Jimenez needs two more ground balls to reach 40 and three caused turnovers for 25.
