LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 22, 2023) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse finished their home schedule in grand fashion. Playing in front of a big crowd on senior day, the Lions didn't allow a goal defeating Alliance 23-0.
How it Happened
• This one was all Georgian Court. They led in shots 33-5.
• Draw controls saw the Lions double up Alliance 18-9. GCU was 14-14 on clear attempts and Alliance 2-6.
• Georgian Court did a good job holding onto the ball. They committed just four turnovers while Alliance lost it 14 times.
First Half
• The scoring got started early as
Riley O'Connor connected on the first first shot just 40 seconds in. GCU lit the lamp six times in the first five minutes as
Caitlin Petrellese, Kasha, Elzinga and
Ashley Pringle all scored.Â

Danielle Crimeni and Cheyanne Hunsberger each picked up their first goals of the season in the first quarter as well as the Lions took a 12-0 lead after one.
• Quarter number two was more of the same as
Alyssa Wahl scored twice in the first 3:16.

Isabel Raimondi added one late in the half for the Lions who led 15-0 at intermission.
Second Half
• With the running clock, GCU scored four times in both the third and fourth quarters.

Kelsey Naclerio got on the board in the fourth and
Riley O'Connor tallied two more to give her six.

Riley O'Connor scored a game-high six goals with two assists and seven draw controls.

Alyssa Wahl finished with 10 points scoring four times with six assists.
•
Isabel Raimondi scored three times and gave out two assisted with two ground balls.

Kasha Elzinga also scored three times with three grounders.
•
Jade Rivera caused three turnovers and scored a goal.
•
Alexis Hahn made three saves in goal for the win.
For Alliance
• British Dawson made five saves in goal.
• Jasmyne Moore won five draw controls and finished with a ground ball and caused turnover.
• Alexis Taylor had three shots and won three draw controls.
