Georgian Court Hosts Holy Family in CACC Opening Round

LAKEWOOD, NJ (May 1, 2023) - The end of the CACC regular season is here as Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse finishes up this weekend.

How to Watch
• Tuesday's game is available to watch via a free-to-view broadcast on the Georgian Court portal of the CACC Digital Network powered by HUDL. Live stats are also available at gculions.com. 
• Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased with cash only. First 50 Georgian Court students get in free with student ID. 

Previously vs. Holy Family
• Georgian Court is 14-9 against Holy Family. No team has more wins against the Lions than the Tigers.
• The Lions got the better of HFU earlier this season with a 17-6 win in Philadelphia all the way back on March 22.
Riley O'Connor scored six goals in the win.
• GCU put the game out of reach with a 6-0 fourth quarter.
Alexis Hahn made 10 saves in net. 

Last Time Out
• On the final day of the regular season, Georgian Court nearly made a tremendous comeback at Wilmington.
• The Lions trailed by eight late in the third quarter and got the lead all the way down to one.
• GCU had possession of the draw in the closing minute, but couldn't get a shot off as the Tigers survived.
Isabel Raimondi scored six goals.
Remi Reinhardt scored five, all in the fourth quarter.

• Alexis Hahn needs 15 saves to become the Lions all-time leader in saves.
• Talysa Jimenez is three ground balls away from 50 and three caused turnovers from 30. 
• The next game played will be 50 for Alyssa Wahl. One more shot will give her 200. Four points and she'll enter the Lions top-10. 
• Jade Rivera is two goals shy of 30.
Riley O'Connor is 10 goals away from setting a new single-season record. She needs five to get into the GCU all-time top-five. 
Remi Reinhardt needs two more goals to get to 50. 
• With five ground balls, Kelsey Naclerio will hit 100.

CACC Postseason Picture
• Georgian Court finished in a three-way tie for second place in the CACC regular season with an 8-2 record.
• Due to tiebreakers, GCU will be the number 4 seed in this week's tournament. 
• The Lions host tomorrow's play-in game against No. 5 Holy Family with the winner advancing to take on No. 1 seed Dominican.

• The Lions are second in the league with an 86.1% clearing percentage. That's also 14th in the country. 
• GCU has the fewest turnovers per game in the CACC losing the ball just 13.47 times per game
• With 68 goals, Riley O'Connor is third in the league and ninth in Division II. Her 4.25 goals per game are fourth in the conference. 
• Alexis Hahn's .442 save percentage is third in the CACC.
• Alyssa Wahl's is top-five in the CACC in both goals and assists with 57 goals and 43 helpers. She's averaging 5.88points per game which is fifth in the nation.
