Men's Soccer Takes the Pitch Tuesday Afternoon

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Sept. 11, 2023) - After more than a week without a game, Georgian Court Men's Soccer is back on the pitch tomorrow afternoon on the road in Albany, NY.

• Georgian Court fell on the road at #25 Mercyhurst 2-1 way back on Sept. 3.
• The Lions managed just two shots, one was a penalty kick that resulted in the goal.

• With one more start, Ryan Lee will reach 20 games started in his career. 
• Sam Thombs needs to play 39 more minutes to reach 3,000 minutes played. 

About The College of Saint Rose
• Saint Rose is coming off of a historic season which saw them reach the NCAA Regional Tournament for the first time in program history in 2022.
• They went 9-5-4 last year and 5-3-3 in conference play.
• The Golden Knights were picked to finish fifth this season in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
• In three matches, Saint Rose has scored 10 goals, but seven came against CACC foe Dominican.
• Hilmar Halldorsson leads the team with four goals and an assist. Isac Williamson has scored twice.
• Saint Rose likes to pepper the net with shots having taken 55, but only 28 have been on target.
• The Golden Knights have been a clean team thus far with just two yellow cards issued against them.
• Leopold Dufaut has started all three games and played all but 43 seconds in goal. He's allowed six goals while making 14 saves with a 70% save percentage.
