Homecoming
• Saturday morning is Georgian Court's Homecoming. Volleyball kicks off the day with their 10 am first serve against Dominican.
• After the game, Volleyball alumni are encouraged to play in a friendly alumni game.
• Georgian Court will also host Bridgeport in men's and women's soccer beginning at 1 pm.
• GCU Alumni is also holding their alumni brunch in the morning with a beer and wine garden in the afternoon. Registration for those is at the link above.
Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• Goldey-Beacom won the first eight matches all-time against Georgian Court. Since then, the Lions have won 31 of 34.
• GCU is currently on a team-game winning streak against the Lightning, having not lost to GBC since 2017.
• During that 10 match winning streak, GBC has won just four sets, and no more than one in any match.
• The Lions swept the Lightning last season winning 3-0 at home and 3-1 on the road.
• In their second match last season, the Lions hit. 286 in a win.

Previously vs. Dominican
• From 2012-2021, Georgian Court had won nine straight over Dominican.
• The Chargers though have won two of the last three, including a 3-1 win last season in Orangeburg.
• The service line is where the match came down to. On the scoreboard, Dominican scored three more total points than the Lions, but were a +9 on all serves.

Chelsea Ross led GCU with 14 kills and five blocks.
Last Time Out
• Georgian Court did something they hadn't done since 2013.
• For the second time this season, GCU completed a reverse sweep, this time winning against Pace, 3-2.
• After getting down 2-0, the Lions won sets 3-5, 25-11, 25-17, 18-16.

About Goldey-Beacom
• Goldey-Beacom may be the surprise team in the CACC this season.
• After going 0-20 a year ago and 0-16 in league play, the Lightning are off to a 7-7 start and 1-1 in the conference.
• While GBC won earlier this week, 3-1 over Millersville, the Lightning have lost three of their last four.
• The Lightning are among the leaders in the CACC with 15.42 digs per set, third in the league.
• They are also second with 555 total assists.
• Caitlyn Burch is patrolling the middle with 0.96 blocks per set. She also has 181 kills and her 4.20 points per set leads the CACC.
• Piper Nanouski and Giuliana Jaku also have more than 100 kills on the season.
• Ada Koksal is third in the league with 8.68 assists per set. She's also a threat with 37 kills and 14 service aces.
• Gaby Fernandez is second in the conference averaging 5.09 digs per set.
About Dominican
• Along with Georgian Court and Post, Dominican is one of just three unbeaten teams remaining in the CACC.
• The landscape of the league could look different come Monday though with the Chargers squaring off with Post ahead of their match at GCU.
• The Chargers have struggled on the road this season where they're just 1-3. That one win though came 3-2 at defending CACC Tournament Champions, Bridgeport.
• As a team, Dominican is hitting .188 which is second in the CACC.
• Kaitlyn Carr leads the offense with 126 kills and 3.71 kills per set. That kills per set is tops in the CACC.
• Kaeden Sanstead and Layla Shipley are both passing more than eight assists per set.
