Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• This is a very series history between these two with each team winning four games with three ties along the way.
• Of late, GCU is unbeaten against the Lightning in their last four at 2-0-2.
• The last two meetings between these teams have seen five goals each game in the second half.
• Two years ago in Lakewood, the Lions trailed 1-0 at the half, but scored five times in a 28 minute span in the second half to prevail 5-1.
• Last year in Delaware, it was the Lions with an early one-goal lead. GBC tied less than two minutes into the second half. After the Lightning took a 3-2 lead, Mathias Madersbacher scored his third goal seconds later to get back even at three which is where the match finished.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court returned home and gave up four straight goals to Post to fall 4-1.
• The Lions got ahead on another Gijs van Eif goal.
• The Eagles scored late in the first half to tie then three times in the second to come out on top.

Individual Milestones
• Gijs van Eif is two points away from fourth all-time at GCU and for a single-season. One more goal will get him sole possession of third at GCU for a single-season.
• Also moving up that career goals list is David Tuschmann. He's one goal away from 10 which would tie him for 10th in Lions history.
• Another shutout from Ayendi Batista will give him five which will be second-most for a single-season in Lions history and fourth for a career. He's also one win away from 10.
• Ryan Lee is one minute away from 4000. Tim Wilk is 33 minutes short of 1000.
• Svante Haakansson needs three points for 20.
• Mikey Mallon is three assists away from the Lions single-season record. Three more will also move him into second place on the career list. His next game played will be his 40th.

CACC Leaders (Based on NCAA Statistics)
• Gijs van Eif is second in the CACC with 24 points and 11 goals. Both of those rank in the top-15 nationally.

• Caldwell is in third with 19 points and eight games played followed by the Lions with 18. Bridgeport and Wilmington each have 16 points, Bridgeport in eight games and Wilmington in nine.
• Of the two teams remaining on the Lions schedule, Goldey-Beacom is in seventh place with 12 points and seem in a comfortable spot for the postseason. Chestnut Hill has just five and are on the outside looking in.

About Goldey-Beacom
• Goldey-Beacom isn't quite playing for their postseason lives, comfortably sitting in seventh place, but another win and a Holy Family loss could clinch a spot for them. They also could move up in the standings.
• Overall, the Lightning are 5-9 and 4-4 in CACC games.
• Goldey-Beacom has come out of a five-game losing streak with back-to-back wins over Dominican and Jefferson.
• Two has been the magic number for the Lightning. They're 4-1 when scoring at least two goals in a match.
• The Lightning have played two goaltenders, Jamel Yasin and Pedro Montanes and each got one win last week. Yasin has a 1.50 goals against average and 53 saves in 900 minutes while Montanes has played 360 minutes with a 1.75 GAA and 10 saves.
• While no Lightning player has more than 10 points, seven have at least four led by Sam Ball and Emanuel Bustos with three goals and an assist.
• Lucas Fernandes has passed out four assists.
• One thing to expect is stoppages and cautions. The Lightning have 54 yellow cards this season, most in Division II.
