LAKEWOOD, NJ (Nov. 15, 2024) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball goes for their first win of the season Saturday against Bloomsburg.

Previously vs. Bloomsburg
• Georgian Court is 0-2 all-time against the Huskies, but haven't met since 2018.
• In fact Saturday will five years and 364 days days since they last played, Nov. 17, 2018, an 80-79 overtime win for the Huskies.
• Their only meeting in Lakewood came in 2017, a 70-59 BU victory.

• Amari Jones is seven rebounds away from 150 in his career. His next game played will be his 30th. 
• Taheen Braswell-Brown needs six points to get to 250. 
• Two more field goals will get Donavin Crawford to 100.
Justin Soranno is 11 points away from 100.
Justin Harper's next game will be his 20th. 
Khalil Baker needs five rebounds to reach 50 and 20 points for 100.

Meet the New Boss
• Georgian Court hired Dave Fedor to be the fourth men's basketball coach in program history in May. 
• This is Coach Fedor's second stint with the Lions. He was an assistant coach during their second year as a program in 2014-15.
• Fedor comes to GCU after spending six seasons as an assistant coach at Division I Robert Morris. 
• His coaching career started as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Rutgers from 2012-14.
• The Rutgers grad grew up in Hamilton, NJ and played prep ball at Steinert High School. 

CACC Leaders
Donavin Crawford is second in the CACC shooting 58% from behind the arc.
Jacob Santiago is leading the league with a 7:1 assist to turnover ratio. That's also 13th in all of D2.
Caleb Mims is seventh in the CACC in both steals and free throw percentage.
• Georgian Court's field goal percentage defense is third in the conference.
• The Lions eight made three-pointers per game ranks third in the league.
• GCU has cut down on turnovers. Their 13 per game is the third fewest in the CACC.

Who's Hot?
Donavin Crawford has at least 14 points and five FGM in each game this season.
Justin Harper has also scored in double-figures in both games.
Khalil Baker was 5-10 for 14 points against Lock Haven.
Justin Soranno pulled down 11 boards in the home opener.
Jacob Santiago scored nine points with six assists against Lock Haven. 

About Bloomsburg
• Bloomsburg is also in search of their first win of the season.
• They're off to an 0-3 start and have given up at least 75 points in all three games.
• In the nine-team PSAC East, Bloomsburg found themselves at the bottom in the preseason coaches poll following a 5-23 2023-24 season. 
• Bloomsburg does return their top-two scorers from last season in Louie Wild and Matt Bengel.
• Wild is off to a good start averaging more than 17 points per game and shooting 44% from three.
• Rebounding and turnovers have been a problem for the Huskies this season. They're losing the rebounding battle by more than seven per game and are committing 18 turnovers per game.
• While not a great free-throw shooting team, Tony Henderson is 8-8 to start the season at the line.
