Previously vs. Felician
• Georgian Court is putting a 26-match winning streak against Felician on the line Tuesday night.
• GCU has never lost to the Golden Falcons dating back to 2004.
• At home, the Lions are 14-0 against Felician.
• Last year was just the second time Felician even won two sets against the Lions.
• Georgian Court was down 2-1, but won sets four and five to remain unbeaten against the Golden Falcons.
• This year was a different story with the Lions picking up the sweep.
• GCU hit .288 for the match and were led by
Nylene Mateo's 11 kills.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court put on a dominant display on senior day.
• They swept Jefferson in grand fashion winning 25-11, 25-20 and 29-27.
• GCU got out to a huge lead and never looked back in set one. They nearly led a late lead slip in set three, but held on for a 29-27 win.
• The 29 points are the most GCU has scored in a set this season.

Nylene Mateo is officially on program record watch. She's 27 kills away from setting a new Lions all-time record.

Amiyah Woods is one block away from entering the Lions all-time top-10 and one kill away from 500.

Martina Croce is 17 points away from 500.

Giorgia Cappelletti is up to fifth in single-season service aces with 70. Four more will move her to fourth and six more gets her to third. She also needs 18 points for 700.

Dayna Diaz is five assists short of 900. She'd be the 10th Lion to ever reach that total.
•
Chelsea Ross's next matched played will be her 100th.

Three and Free, but Five is Okay Too
• After playing their share of long matches earlier in the season, Georgian Court is finishing things quick.
• Six of the Lions last 10 matches have finished in three sets with the Lions going 5-1 in those three-set matches.
• On the other hand, if matches do go long, Georgian Court is quite comfortable.
• The Lions are 6-0 in five-set games this year. They are also 8-8 when losing the first set and have come back from dropping set one in each of their last three of their last four wins.
Home Cookin'
• This season, GCU is 11-2 at home and just 7-7 everywhere else.
• The good news for GCU, they'll be hosting throughout the CACC Tournament.
The CACC Tournament
• Georgian Court is the top overall seed in this week's CACC Tournament after finishing with a league-best 14-2 record.
• The final four teams left after tomorrow's quarterfinal round will all play this week in Lakewood as Georgian Court is the host for the CACC Tournament semifinals and finals Nov. 23-24.
• All-time in CACC Tournament games, the Lions are an impressive 25-11 with six Tournament Championships.
• The last CACC Tournament championship for the Lions came in 2019.
• In quarterfinal round games, GCU is 12-5 in 17 seasons dating back to 2002.
• The Lions and Felician have only met once in the CACC Tournament in their history. That was in the COVID-19 shorted season in the spring of 2021. That was a 3-0 win for the Lions.
About Felician
• Felician finished the season strong winning three of their final four matches.
• Overall the Golden Falcons finished the regular season at 9-19 and 6-10 in the CACC.
• Playing away from home this season, Felician was just 3-12.
• As a team, Felician is hitting just .121 which is towards the bottom of the league.
• Megan Barker and Karla Maldonado are leading the team with more than 200 kills. Barker is averaging 2.61 kills per set and Maldonado 2.47.
