BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (Nov. 2, 2024) - Georgian Court Men's Soccer stepped out of conference play for their penultimate game of the regular season Saturday afternoon. They also took a step-up in competition going against the No. 18 ranked Huskies. The short-handed Lions hung with the Huskies for a bit, but ultimately fell, 4-0 in the penultimate game of the regular season.
How it Happened
• Bloomsburg was in control for nearly all of this one. They tripled up the Lions in shots, 24-8.
• Each side had plenty of fouls with Bloomsburg called for 18 and the Lions 14.Â
• Georgian Court was also issued six yellow cards.
• The Huskies were peppering the net early, but most shots were off target.
• Following a wide shot just before the 30 minute mark, Bloomsburg regrouped and Alex Wilsterman scored the game's first goal in the 31st minute.
• Georgian Court nearly tied late in the first half, but Gijs van Eif's shot was saved by Brady Rimple and after 45 minutes, it was a 1-0 Bloomsburg lead.
• It took just over 90 seconds for the Huskies to take a two-goal advantage. Wilsterman again connected for his second of the game.
• Just five minutes later, the Huskies scored their third, then three minutes after that put the game away with their fourth goal of the afternoon.
• Bloomsburg scored their final three goals in a span of 8:07.
• Georgian Court got some sparse shot attempts off, but the Bloomsburg defense held up for a 4-0 win.

• Brady Rimple gets the win making two saves in 75 minutes. Sean Blatz closed out the final 15 minutes also making two saves.

• Owen Hollobaugh and Braden Alicea scored as well.
