• Georgian Court kicked off their season, albeit a day late, with a win at Shepherd.
• After a snowstorm pushed the game back a day, GCU used a strong second quarter to lead them to a 14-12 win.
• It wasn't easy though, as the Lions got down 4-0 early.
• The Lions were able to take the lead in the second, outscoring the Rams 6-1 in the frame.
• Shepherd came back and it was a one-goal game late in the fourth, 13-12.

• This will be the first game of the year for Gannon who last year finished 4-13 and 4-8 in league play.
• The Golden Knights return leading scorers McKenna Woodworth and Caroline Stevens. They each scored 34 goals last season.
• Haleigh Manning also returns in net for Gannon. She finished with 118 saves and was an All-PSAC selection.Â
• A former CACC foe, Madyson Schwartz, a transfer from Chestnut Hill is on the Gannon roster.Â
