Women's Lacrosse Back Home Tuesday Afternoon vs. D'Youville

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 11, 2024) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse is looking forward towards a new week. Putting a pair of one-goal losses behind them. GCU has two games this week including the start of conference season. But before that is a midweek game with an ECC foe.

Previously vs. D'Youville
• These two teams met for the first time ever last season, an 18-12 win for the Lions.
• In Buffalo, GCU raced out to a 14-4 lead at the half, before going on to win by six after late goals by the Saints.
Alyssa Wahl scored six points with five goals.
Isabel Raimondi totaled two goals and three assists.

Last Time Out
• It was a game to forget for the Lions. GCU dropped their fourth straight, 18-17 at Southern Connecticut.
• The Lions had a lead midway through the fourth, but the Owls stormed back to score the final eight goals in regulation and steal the win.
Remi Reinhardt scored six points with five goals and nine draw controls.
Riley O'Connor added five goals as well.
• O'Connor surpassed 200 career points and Reinhardt hit the century mark in points in the loss.

• Isabel Raimondi and Riley O'Connor sit fourth with 29 points. O'Connor's 22 goals are third and Raimondi's 13 assists second. 
• Remi Reinhardt leads the league with 8.14 draw controls per game, fifth in the nation.  
• With 57 saves Natalie Moradian leads the league.  
• The Lions 19 points per game are the second-most in the league. 
• GCU is second in the conference with a .866 clearance percentage.

• Remi Reinhardt has at least two goals in each of her last six games. 
• Caitlin Petrellese has caused four turnovers in her last two games and won seven draw controls in her last three. 
• Bryleigh Tejchman has scored in all seven games this season. 
Gianna Nardini has back-to-back games with two goals. 
 • Isabel Raimondi has scored three points in each of her last two games. 

Individual Milestones
• Isabel Raimondi is two ground balls short of 50. Two assists will also move her into fourth place in GCU history.
• Remi Reinhardt needs 15 draw controls for a new Geogian Court career record.

• Five caused turnovers will move Kelsey Naclerio from ninth to sixth all-time at GCU.

D'Youville Saints

• It's been an interesting season for the 2-3 Saints. 
• They've picked up a win over CACC foe Post, 14-8 in their season opener, and also defeated Mercyhurst 14-9.
• Two of their three losses have been by 10 or more goals including a 15-4 defeat vs. Dominican.
