Women's Lacrosse Hosts Caldwell For Senior Day and CACC Opener

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 15, 2024) - It's Senior Day for Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse! The Lions will honor their senior class of 2024 as well as begin the CACC regular season.

How to Watch
• Saturday's game is available to watch via a free-to-view broadcast on the Georgian Court portal of the CACC Digital Network powered by HUDL. Live stats are also available at gculions.com. 

Senior Day
• Prior to the game, the Lions will honor their senior class of 2024 with a special on-field ceremony.
• This year's senior class features Kate Clemente, Gianna Nardini, Remi Reinhardt and Kasha Elzinga.

Previously vs. Caldwell
• Only once has Caldwell ever defeated Georgian Court. That came back in 2016.
• All-time, the Lions 10-1 against the Cougars and have won seven straight.
• Last year in Caldwell, Georgian Court scored nine in the first period and were well on their way to a 21-6 win.
• GCU had a terrific all-around game winning 21 of 31 draws, 23 of 31 ground balls and turned the ball over just five times.
Alyssa Wahl and Isabel Raimondi each scored eight points and Remi Reinhardt netted six goals. 

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court got back in the win column in a big way with a 17-4 thumping of D'Youville.
• With the game tied at one after two free-position goals, the Lions scored the next 14 straight goals to put the game away.
• GCU didn't allow a goal in either the second or the third quarters.
Remi Reinhardt picked up four goals and two assists.
Bryleigh Tejchman scored a game-high five goals. 

CACC Leaders
• Isabel Raimondi and Riley O'Connor are third and fourth in the CACC with 34 and 33 points respectively.
• O'Connor is also second with 25 goals while Raimondi is second with 15 assists.
• Remi Reinhardt leads the league with 7.88 draw controls per game, eighth in the nation.  
• With 62 saves Natalie Moradian is second in the league.  
• The Lions 19.88 points per game are the second-most in the league. 
• GCU is tops in the conference with a .872 clearance percentage.

Who's Hot?
• Remi Reinhardt has six points in each of the last two games.
• Bryleigh Tejchman has scored in all eight games this season. She picked up a season-high five vs. D'Youville. 
 • Isabel Raimondi has scored three goals in two of her last three games. 
Riley O'Connor has eight goals in her last two.
Kelsey Naclerio has at least two ground balls and two turnovers in three of her last four games. 
Natalie Moradian is coming off of a career-low four goals allowed against the Saints. 

Individual Milestones
• Isabel Raimondi is two ground balls short of 50. She needs eight goals to reach 100. 
• Remi Reinhardt needs nine draw controls for a new Georgian Court career record. 
• Madison Battle is two caused turnovers away from 20. 
• Two caused turnovers will move Kelsey Naclerio from eighth to sixth all-time at GCU. 
Riley O'Connor needs four goals to move to fourth all-time. 

About the Opponents
Caldwell Cougars

• Caldwell's season is still in its infancy. While Saturday will be the Lions ninth game this season, it'll be just the third for the Cougars. 
• The Cougars are 1-1 this season, scoring nine goals per game.
• They opened the year with a 20-6 loss at St. Thomas Aquinas. Their win came in a nonconference game against Chestnut Hill, 12-10 earlier in the week.
• Caldwell is averaging just 17.5 shots per game with a .771 shot on goal percentage.
• The Cougars are being out-drawn 31-24 and have turned the ball over 40 times in two games. 
• CU is hitting at 60% on their free-position opportunities. 
• Tiana Cipot has scored a team-best six goals, five free-position goals.
