Men's Basketball Returns Home To Face Dominican

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Jan. 24, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball is back at home this weekend in a CACC cross-division battle.

Series History vs. Dominican
• Georgian Court has never defeated Dominican in program history.
• The Lions are 0-12 and 0-5 at home.
• Last season, after playing close for the first 10 minutes, the Chargers pulled away for a seven-point halftime lead.
• Dominican led the rest of the way en route to an 87-70 win.
Cam Edmonds led GCU scoring 16 points on 6-12 shooting with five rebounds and four steals. 

Last Time Out
Cam Edmonds set a new program record scoring 48 points at Goldey-Beacom with 22 coming at the foul line.
• It wasn't enough though as the Lightning used a late burst for a 90-84 win.
• The Lions fought back from down 11 in the first half, to grab a small second-half lead.
• Goldey-Beacom used a 5-0 run in the closing minutes and were 10-10 at the foul line down the stretch to hold off Georgian Court.

• Cam Edmonds is already just 13 made free throws away from setting the Lions single-season record.
• Amari Jones is nine rebounds away from 200 and Justin Soranno three away from 100.

• After his 48-point game Wednesday, Cam Edmonds now leads the CACC scoring 22.6 points per game which is 14th in Division II.
• Edmonds also leads the league and is ninth having made 111 free throws.

• Justin Soranno sits seventh in the conference in blocked shots while Edmonds is seventh in steals.
