Waterbury, CT(Nov.1,2025) - The Lions showed great depth and teamwork in Saturday's match against Post, with multiple players contributing to the score. Four different players scored in the match.
How it Happened
• Georgian Court out shot the Eagles 21-11 in Saturday's match.
• Just over a minute into the game,
Erynn Richey scored her fourth goal of the season.
Richey scored off a free kick way outside the eighteen-yard box.
• Goalkeeper
Delaine Wilkinson helped set up
Julia Eichenbaum's goal, with an assist also credited to
Taylor Horvath.
Eichenbaum scored 12 minutes into the game, giving the Lions an early 2-0 lead.
• The Eagles wasted no time answering back.
Reese Kloetzer and
Jordyn Calas found the net just six minutes apart, evening the score at 2–2 only 27 minutes into the half.
•The next four minutes belonged to the Lions.
