LAKEWOOD, NJ (Nov. 5, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Soccer has reached the end of the regular season. With just one game left, GCU knows they're in the CACC postseason, but there is still a lot to determine before that.

Previously vs. Post
• In 14 all-time matchups, Georgian Court has just one win against Post. They're 1-13-1 lifetime against the Eagles.
• Playing in Waterbury results have been even worse as Georgian Court is 0-8 playing at the Eagles.
• These teams met just eight days ago, the next to last game in the regular season for the Lions. 
• After a scoreless first half, Post scored the game's only goal in the 78th minute.
• The defensive game saw just 16 total shots. The Lions held Post to just three shots on goal. 
• The state of Connecticut hasn't been to kind to Georgian Court as a whole. The Lions are 1-11-1 in their lifetime playing in the Constitution State.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court finished the regular season at home against Holy Family.
• For the second straight game, a second half goal was enough in a 1-0 Lion loss.
• This time the goal came in the 73rd minute and although the Lions pushed to tie, they couldn't hit the back of the net.
• It was the first time in program history GCU has lost consecutive 1-0 games. 

Individual Milestones
• The next game started will be the 50th of Mikey Mallon's career. He needs one point to reach 30 and become the ninth Lion to score 30 career points. 
• Ayendi Batista needs two saves to move to fourth all-time at GCU.
• Alessandro Cavallini's next game played will be his 50th.
• One more win will be Head Coach Dino Raso's 100th at Georgian Court, which mean's it will be the program's 100th win as well. 

CACC Stat Leaders
• Jack Pollintine-Smith is tied for eighth in the CACC with four assists. 
• Ayendi Batista is in the top-10 in goals against average, save percentage, shutouts and saves. He's up to sixth in the league in GAA. 
• Mikey Mallon has moved to sixth in the CACC in shots per game and he's just outside the top-10 in shot accuracy.  
• The Lions offense is getting off their share of shots. They're fourth in the league in shots per game and shots on goal per game.
• Georgian Court is fifth in total points and goals.
• GCU is up to third in the league in shot accuracy, putting 49.3% of all shots on frame which is 27th in Division II. 

CACC Tournament
• The biggest difference entering the postseason is the presence of overtime. If the two teams are tied after 90 minutes, there will be two 10-minute overtime periods with a golden goal scoring the game-winner. If the game is still tied, the match will go to penalty kicks. 
• The winner of the CACC Tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA East Regional Tournament.  
• The Lions have won one CACC Tournament championship. That came in 2016.
• All-time in CACC Tournament games, the Lions are 6-7-3.
• This will be the fourth time Georgian Court and Post have met in the postseason, more than any other opponent for the Lions. 
• They also met in 2016, 2018 and 2019. The Lions are 0-2-1 in the postseason against Post, but did advance on penalty kicks, 4-3, in 2016. 

About Post
• Post has entered the United Soccer Coaches Top-25, sitting at No. 21 nationally. They also rank fourth in the NCAA Super Region Rankings. 
• After going unbeaten all year, Post did suffer a loss earlier in the week. They fell 1-0 at No. 11 Bentley, who the Lions saw for 45 minutes at the beginning of the season before the game was halted due to lightning. 
• In 15 games, a majority of Post's results have not been wins. They have seven and are 7-1-7 overall. They went 6-0-4 in the CACC to win the regular season crown. 
• Defense has been the backbone of the Eagles' dominant run and that's no different this season. They've allowed just nine goals in 15 games and their GAA is top-10 in Division II.
• They've posted seven shutouts and allowed more than one goal just once, a 2-2 draw with Bridgeport.
• In their last four games, they've surrendered just one goal. 
• Leopold Dufaut is the man between the pipes. He has an 88.8% save percentage, second in Division II, and allows .060 goals per game with 71 saves.
• Post typically plays in low scoring games. The Eagles scored just 20 goals and have only four multiple goal games. 
• The Eagles have two primary goal scorers. Luis Rodrigues has eight along with three assists and Pablo Tenorio has five with three helpers. Rodrigues scored for the Eagles in the 1-0 win last week over GCU. 
• Post has been called for the fewest yellow cards of an CACC team with just 23 in 15 contests. 
• Before falling in the CACC Championship game last season, Post had won five straight CACC Tournament Championships.
