PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Dec. 9, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball took a little detour during CACC play for a Division I exhibition game. The Lions went to Philadelphia where they played at Temple, their second D1 exhibition of the season. In the end, the Owls proved too much for GCU and the Lions fell 103-57.
How it Happened
• Georgian Court finished the game shooting 35% overall. Temple was up just short of 60% from the floor.
• Behind the arc, GCU was 7-29 and Temple hit 10-26.
• The Lions also struggled at the foul line, shooting below 50% and hitting 12-25. Temple was 21-28.
• Temple had a big advantage on the glass grabbing 44 rebounds to Georgian Court's 26.
• Turnovers weren't a big issue. The Lions lost the ball 12 times and Temple nine.Â
1st Half
• The game started with Temple knocking in a three in the first minute of the game.

Jaycen Santucci answered with a layup and
Cam Edmonds hit a transition three of his own pulling GCU within two, 7-5.
• After that Edmonds three, the Lions offense went cold. The Owls held the Lions scoreless for nearly seven minutes as they extended their lead to 23-5 midway through the half.
• Santucci ended the 16-0 run with a basket.
• In the final minute, the Owls got a layup, a steal and beat the buzzer with a three to lead 43-24 at the break.
2nd Half
• Georgian Court started out hot in the second half. They opened scoring the first seven points as
Donavin Crawford hit consecutive three-pointers.
• The teams were trading points and a Santucci layup brought the Lions within 13, 48-35.
• Temple went on another extended run though to put the game away.
• The Lions offense went cold again as the Owls held GCU scoreless for nearly six minutes.
• The Owls offense was humming as both team's emptied their bench. They hit the century mark at the foul line and rolled to a 103-57 win.Â
Lion Stat Leaders

Jaycen Santucci led the Lions scoring 11 points and going 5-7 from the floor with three rebounds.

Anthony Rivera filled the stat sheet with 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.Â

Cam Edmonds scored 10 as well with three helpers.
•
Donavin Crawford added six points on two three-pointers.
For the Owls
• Derrian Ford finished with a game-high 18 points.
• Aiden Tobiason was 6-10 overall for 17 points.
• Gavin Griffiths chipped in 14 points and four rebounds.Â
• Jordan Mason was near a triple-double with 10 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.

• This was an exhibition game for the Lions, so the loss does not count on their record, nor do any stats from the game.
• It's the Lions second D1 exhibition of the season. They also played at William and Mary ahead of their season opener.Â
