Mercy Mavericks
• This will be Mercy's first game of the season.
• A year ago, Mercy finished 9-10 and 5-1 in the ECC regular season.
• They advanced to the final in the ECC Tournament last year and lost a heartbreaker to #1 Roberts Wesleyan. A 12-11 one-goal loss.
• Mercy returns four All-ECC selections from a year ago, headlined by Lindsey Shimborske who was named ECC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year and USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason First Team All-American.
• They'll also bring back Leah Hansen who along with Shimborske was selected to IWLCA All-Region.
• Juniors Andrea Mott and Emily Marino will also be returning to the squad after being named Second Team All-ECC last season.
• The Mavericks brought in seven freshmen to go along with their seven sophomores, six juniors, and three seniors.
