Women's Lacrosse Takes On Two PSAC Schools This Week Starting Wednesday

Lakewood, NJ (Feb. 25, 2025) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse has two games this week against cross-region PSAC rivals.

Previously vs. Shippensburg
• This has been a very close series history. In seven games played, Shippensburg leads the all-time series 4-3.
• After trading wins for each of the first six matchups, Shippensburg has won two straight in 2020 and 2022.
• Of the seven games, four have been decided by just one goal, another by two goals and one went to overtime.
• They last met in 2022, an 11-10 Shippensburg victory in Shippensburg.
• Georgian Court trailed by two entering the fourth quarter to tie the game at 10.
• The Raiders got a got with 3:10 left which proved to be the game-winner. 
• GCU had two more possessions in the final two minutes, but turned the ball over each time before getting a shot off and the Raiders held on.

• Georgian Court suffered their second straight loss, this time to a ranked Bentley team.
• After Isabel Raimondi started the scoring, the Falcons rattled off 12 straight goals to take a commanding 12-1 lead.
• The Lions outscored Bentley 4-3 in the second half and 5-3 over the final 38 minutes of game time.
• Caitlin Petrellese scored three times while Raimondi scored twice.
• Natalie Moradian allowed six goals with seven saves over the final three quarters. 
 
Individual Milestones 
• Caitlin Petrellese is one caused turnover away from 25 in her career. 
• Isabel Raimondi is three goals away from entering the all-time top-10 in career goals. She also needs three assists to move to second all-time and three points will bring her to fourth in career points. 
• Cadence Gentile is two wins shy of ten wins in her career.

• Caitlin Petrellese has eight goals in three games and two games with at least three.
• Nena Menard was this week's CACC Rookie of the Week after scoring twice and leading GCU with six draw controls.
• Isabel Raimondi has 11 points through three games with at least three points in two.
• Jill Konschak picked up five ground balls and caused three turnovers with three draw controls against Bentley.
• In 45 minutes of action, Natalie Moradian made seven saves with a 54% save percentage.

• Shippensburg is 1-1 in the early going of their 2025 season.

• The Raiders win came against another CACC team, 13-8 over Wilmington.
