PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 1, 2025) - The first year of Georgian Court Men's Basketball Head Coach
Dave Fedor is complete. The Lions finished their season with a 76-64 loss at Chestnut Hill Saturday. GCU entered the game needing a win and a Wilmington loss at Goldey-Beacom to earn a CACC Tournament spot. They got neither as the Wildcats defeated the Lightning and GCU's season ends at 6-21 overall and 5-11 in the CACC.
How it Happened
• Chestnut Hill shot well hitting 46% from the floor to the Lions 31.4%.
• The Lions were the better team from three hitting 10-30 and the Griffins went 6-21.
• GCU hit 10-13 from the free throw line and CHC was 20-27.
• The Griffins outrebounded the Lions 45-35.
• Georgian Court was able to limit turnovers to just 10 and forced the Griffins into 16.
1st Half
• Georgian Court's offense struggled mightily in the first half.
• GCU was just 6-31 overall and scored 15 first-half points.
• Leading 6-4, CHC went on a 15-1 run over nearly 10 minutes of action.

Jahsan Johnson broke the run with a three and
Michael Duviella followed with another.
• Georgian Court had another cold spell going the final 4:15 scoreless and trailed 30-15 at the half.
2nd Half
• The Griffins extended the lead to 24, 53-29 with 12 minutes left to go.
• Georgian Court got hot late in the second half.
• The Lions ended up scoring 49 in the half, going 8-16 from three, but were never able to bring the lead down to single digits and CHC won by 12, 76-64.
Lion Stat Leaders

Donavin Crawford scored 16 points 6-17 overall and 3-8 from three.

Taheen Braswell-Brown also scored 16 with five rebounds.

Charles Anyichie grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

Jahsan Johnson was 4-5 overall and 2-3 from three for 10 points.
For the Griffins
• IV Pettit was 8-19 and scored 25 points.
• Neal Hill grabbed 13 rebounds with six points, five assists and three blocks.
• Noah Charles chipped in 12 points and six rebounds.
