Women's Lacrosse Hosts Chestnut Hill Wednesday

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 25, 2025) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse is back at home for their CACC home opener this week.

Previously vs. Chestnut Hill
• It's been a dominant stretch for the Lions against Chestnut Hill. GCU is 20-2 all-time against the Griffins and 12-1 playing at home.
• These teams did not meet last year though. CHC was forced to forfeit the game at the end of the season.
• That means the last time they met came back in 2023, a 26-4 Lions win.
• The 26 goals matched a program record.
• There were a handful of current Lions who got into that game including Isabel Raimondi who totaled six points. Caitlin Petrellese and Madison Battle playing in the field while Natalie Moradian got some mop-up duty in goal over the final quarter. 
 
Last Time Out 
• Georgian Court's offense came to life in a win at Caldwell.
• The Lions scored 25 goals, one off the program record in a 25-7 win.
• GCU pulled way ahead thanks to a 7-0 third quarter.
Isabel Raimondi set new career-highs with eight goals and 12 points.
Caitlin Petrellese scored five times and won nine draws. 
Michaela Scirrotto made her season debut.

Individual Milestones 
Isabel Raimondi needs 11 points to become the third Lion to ever score 300 in a career. Seven goals will also move her to sixth all-time at GCU. 
Michaela Scirrotto and Gabrielle Battle are one game away from 20 and Scirrotto needs four points for 20 as well. 
• Five more goals will get Caitlin Petrellese to 50. 
• Madison Battle is two ground balls shy of 50 and Brielle U'Selis needs one more for 30.

Who's Hot?  
• Caitlin Petrellese has scored in all nine games this season. She's also won three or more draw controls in seven straight. 
• Nena Menard has caused a turnover in three straight games. 
• Isabel Raimondi has at least two goals in seven straight games. 
• Madison Battle has caused six turnovers in her last three games. 
Gabrielle Battle passed out seven assists at Caldwell and scored three times.
Jill Konschak has 20 draw controls in her last five games.

• Isabel Raimondi is in the top three in the league in goals, assists and points. 
Caitlin Petrellese is third in draw controls and Jill Konschak is fifth.

Chestnut Hill Griffins
• Chestnut Hill has play a third of the amount of games as Georgian Court thus far. They're 1-2 on the season in just three games.
• The win came against Post to put them at 1-0 in the CACC.
• Erin McCarthy has started two goals in goal with a 7.00 goals against average and 53.3% save percentage.
• Kendall Gayton leads the team with 11 points while Molly Killion has eight goals scored and 11 ground balls.
• Killion is also the team leader with 13 draw controls. CHC is even thus far in 2025 on the draw.
• The Griffins have caused more turnovers than they've committed: 69-63.
• CHC is just 5-16 this season on free-position opportunities. 
• They've scored four goals on 24 woman-up opportunities. They've conceded six power play goals after taking 16 cards.
