LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 26, 2025) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse had themselves a day Wednesday afternoon. They blanked Chestnut Hill 21-0 to improve to 2-0 in CACC play on the season.
How it Happened
• Whether it was offense or defense, the story was Georgian Court.Â
• GCU dominated possession starting with draw controls where they won 18-of-23.
• The Lions totaled 35 shots, 25 on target. They limited the Griffins to just eight shots, five of which were saved.
• Turnover numbers were fairly even, but that's just on account of how much more time GCU had the ball. There weren't many opportunities for CHC to turn the ball over, but they did lose the ball 16 times to the Lions 15. GCU was 14-16 on clear attempts and CHC 11-17.
• Georgian Court was also the stronger team on ground ball, 25-16.
• On free-position attempts, the Lions were 3-5 and Chestnut Hill 0-6.

2nd Quarter
•
Jill Konschak made it 7-0 less than 90 seconds into the second quarter.
• Raimondi made it a hat trick before Menard scored on the power play.
• With 4:30 left to play in the half, Raimondi scored again giving GCU a 10-0 lead and a running clock.
• Petrellese added her second as GCU led 11-0 at the half.
•
