Women's Lacrosse Invades Defending CACC Champions Saturday Afternoon

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 28, 2025) - It will be a battle of CACC unbeatens Saturday afternoon, as two of the top three teams in the CACC standings go head-to-head.

Previously vs. Dominican
• It wouldn't be a stretch to call the Chargers the Lions biggest rivals over the last couple of years.
• They've met in the CACC postseason four times since 2019 and in each of the last three seasons.
• All-time GCU leads the series 18-7, but Dominican has fared better of late, winning four straight.
• That includes a 13-8 win in last season's CACC Championship game. 
• Dominican got off to a 6-1 lead in the first quarter and never trailed to claim the title. 
Remi Reinhardt scored three goals. Natalie Moradian came in down 6-1 and made 10 saves. 
 
Last Time Out 
• Georgian Court's offense has been humming since the start of conference play.
• They're 2-0 and have scored 46 goals to just seven allowed.
• Earlier in the week, the Lions picked up their fifth ever shutout win, defeating Chestnut Hill 21-0.
Isabel Raimondi scored her 300th career point, totaling 11 in the game.

Nena Menard is three points away from 20 and needs two ground balls for 25.
Michaela Scirrotto is chasing similar numbers, two points short of 20 and three ground balls away from 25.
Caitlin Petrellese needs two goals for 50.
Jill Konschak's next game played will be her 30th. She's one ground ball away from 25. 
Isabel Raimondi needs two assists for 150. One more goal will move her to sixth all-time at GCU.
Addison Rivera is a ground ball away from 25.
Gabrielle Battle needs five goals for 20 and six points for 40.
Madison Battle is two caused turnover away from 40.

Who's Hot?  
• With 46 goals in their last two games, the entire Lion offense is hot.
Isabel Raimondi has 23 points with 14 goals and nine assists.
Caitlin Petrellese, the resident jack-of-all-trades has eight goals, 10 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and 14 draw controls in that span.
Gabrielle Battle has passed out 16 assists in conference play.
Nena Menard has scored four goals in back-to-back games.
Madison Battle has a ground ball in four straight games and caused a turnover in five straight.

• Caitlin Petrellese is third in draw controls and Jill Konschak is fifth.

• Of goaltenders with more than 15 saves, Natalie Moradian is leading the CACC in save percentage.

About the Opponent 
Dominican Chargers
• CACC defending champions Dominican are once again off to a great start. They're 7-1 and 3-0 in CACC play.
• Playing at home, Dominican is 4-0. They've also won four straight.
• Dominican is a very sound defensive teams. They're allowing just 6.75 goals per game, fifth best in the NCAA.
• Don't sleep on the offense though which is scoring nearly 16 goals per game, which is also top-10 in the nation. 
• They also do an excellent job of holding onto the ball. Their 11.88 turnovers per game are the fewest in the country.
• Kristinamarie Kaszovitz, the graduate student goalkeeper, has a 7.90 goals against average and 42.2% save percentage.
• Madelyn Grella is the leading point scorer with 53. She's scored 26 goals and dished out 27 assists.
• Dominican leads the CACC in draw-control percentage at 57.8%. They also lead in clearing percentage at 86.6%.
• Jenna Rigo and Sydney Strohmayer pace the defense. They have a combined 33 caused turnovers.
