LITTLE FERRY, NJ (March 29, 2025) - Georgian Court Softball powered their way to a split at Felician with an 11-6 game two win. GCU remains even in conference play at 4-4 on the season.
Game 1 - Felician 3, Georgian Court 1
How it Happened
• Felician pitching shut down the Lions in game one allowing just a run on three hits.
• The Golden Falcons scored three times on eight hits.
• Felician took advantage of a GCU fielding error, scoring three unearned runs.
• GCU worked out of a couple of jams as Felician left seven on base.
• The Lions struck out eight times and didn't walk once while Felician walked once and struck out once.
• Georgian Court didn't get their first hit of the game until the fourth inning. By that time, they were already trailing 3-0.
• The Golden Falcons broke through for a three-run third inning. A one-out walk followed by a fielding error put two runners scoring position. Felician scored their first run on an RBI ground out, but two, two-out run scoring hits plated two more runs and made it a 3-0 game.

Julia Lapp did a good job of keeping Felician scoreless the rest of the way, but she didn't get much run support.
• GCU got a run in the seventh as
Ella Moore led off with a double and scored on
Cheyenne Jackson's RBI ground out, but GCU still fell in the end, 3-1.

• Sadie Kittoe reached base three times with a walk and two singles. She also scored a run.

Game 2 - Georgian Court 11, Felician 6
How it Happened
• Georgian Court scored 11 runs on 11 hits which included a home run and two doubles.
• Felician doubled twice and picked up seven hits to score six runs.
• The Lions took advantage of three Golden Falcon errors that led to eight unearned runs.

Janelle Blaszka put plenty on base, walking seven, but stranded 12 Felician base-runners.
• Felician started the scoring getting an unearned run in the opening inning.
• That lead didn't last long as GCU exploded for an eight-run second inning. It started when
Reagan Winn led off with a double. She scored on an error.

Kristy Regalado,
Lia DeMaio,
Ella Moore all had run-scoring hits in the inning. Moore drove in a pair and scored on a passed ball to make it 8-1.

Julianna Kellogg made it 9-1 with a single in the third inning.

Cheyenne Jackson homered in the fifth and
Kaylin Curro doubled home Kellogg later in the inning to finish the scoring for GCU.
• Felician added three runs in the third and two in the sixth, but couldn't overcome the eight-run second.

Lillian Noyes didn't allow a run in 1.2 innings allowing two hits and striking out one.
For the Golden Falcons
• Skye Limardo took the loss but was let down by her defense as she allowed eight runs, none earned in 1.1 innings.Â
• Mallory Shevlin threw the final three innings allowing a run on two hits with three strikeouts.
• Sara Torres drove in two runs.
• Kailey Alas walked twice and scored two runs.

• This is the second straight doubleheader split for Georgian Court with Felician. They improve to 29-9 all-time against the Golden Falcons.
