Lakewood, NJ (Sept. 24th, 2025) - Georgian Court Women's Soccer fell 2-0 to the Rams in their first home game of the 2025 season. 

How it Happened 
• The Rams put on an aggressive offensive display, firing 26 shots throughout the game.
• Jefferson scored once in each half, contributing goals in both halves of the match. 
• Held in check by the Rams' defense, the Lions managed just six shots over 90 minutes.

 First Half 
• Twenty three minutes into the half Gianna Garozzo scored her first goal of the season for the Rams. 
• Due to Jefferson's offensive pressure GCU's Brooke McKown had five saves in the first half. 
• Despite firing 15 shots in the opening 45 minutes, Jefferson came away with just one goal.

Second Half 
• The second goal came for the Rams came from Nikki Dedes her third of the season. 
• Struggling to generate an offense the Lions only took two shots in the second half.

Lion Stat Leaders 
• Brooke Mckown made eight saves in goal. 

  For the Rams 
• Nikki Dedes had one goal and one assist. 
• Gianna Grazzo had one goal. 
• Nikki Dedes and Kyra Lesko both took seven shots.
